The all-Tchaikovsky concert program featured the composer’s three Fantasy-Overtures inspired by Shakespeare plays – „Hamlet”, “The Tempest” and “Romeo and Juliet”. Preceding each of these powerful symphonic poems are selections from the Bard’s immortal works performed by the cast of actors.

Kate Burton, the prolific Tony-nominated stage and screen actress and daughter of the late Richard Burton, directed this all-star cast and also served as host for the LA Phil LIVE broadcast.
